ABW Round table “Women entrepreneurs contribute to development of economic policy in new political context”

Association of Business Women in Serbia organized a Round table on the subject “Women entrepreneurs contribute to development of economic policy in new political context”.

This event took place as part of  the project we are implementing under the same name, which is financially supported by the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia and Government’s Office for cooperation with Civil society.

Four priorities of the ABW Board for Public Advocacy were presented at the gathering: 1) amendment to the Privatization Law, 2) implementation of a unified methodology for collecting local utility taxes, 3) integration of private healthcare services in the insurance system of public healthcare  and 4) including women into the supply chains.

“ABW Board for Public Advocacy proposes initiatives with strategic relevance for development of women’s entrepreneurship, as well as initiatives for solving current issues. Initiatives were launched by women entrepreneurs, but at the same time, their importance is much wider, impacting the entire entrepreneurial population, and further impacting the entire economic development“, pointed out Gordana Djurdjevic, president of the ABW Board for Public Advocacy”.
