On Friday, June 19, 2026, the final conference of the WE.Circular project in Serbia was held at the premises of the Serbia–Korea Information Access Center (SKIP) in Belgrade, organized by the Association of Business Women in Serbia. The event brought together program participants, partners, and members of the Association with the aim of presenting achieved results and exchanging knowledge in the fields of circular economy and modern business practices.

The conference was opened by project manager Lija Stojković, who presented the key results of the WE.Circular project, reflecting on the implemented activities, participants’ achievements, and the importance of supporting women in developing sustainable and innovative business models. Special emphasis was placed on strengthening the capacities of female entrepreneurs to apply circular economy principles in their everyday business operations.

As part of the program, a segment dedicated to the application of artificial intelligence in business was held under the title “Practical Experiences from Working with Companies: AI, Digital Tools and Business Transformation,” led by Tijana Sekulić (AT Consulting) and Miodrag Kostić (PR Business Knowledge). Through practical examples and an interactive approach, participants had the opportunity to learn more about the possibilities AI tools offer for improving business processes, decision-making, and overall efficiency.

The importance of the circular economy and its practical application was discussed by Marija Ignjatović, consultant at Novitas Consult, through the presentation “Circular Economy in Practice and Trends,” in which she presented concrete models and approaches to sustainable business. Insights were also shared by Aleksandra Rašović, founder of the Amelles cosmetics brand and winner of the national WE.Circular competition, who, through the topic “Application of Circular Business Models in Cosmetics,” demonstrated how circular economy principles can be successfully implemented in product development and market placement.

In the final part of the event, the Vice President of the Association of Business Women in Serbia, Olivera Popović, awarded certificates to the present finalists of the WE.Circular innovation competition, further highlighting their achievements and contribution to the development of circular business models. After the official part of the conference, an informal networking session followed, taking place in a pleasant atmosphere, with continued discussions, exchange of contacts, and strengthening of mutual connections.

The final conference of the WE.Circular project once again confirmed the importance of continuous support for women in business, as well as the significance of education and networking in the process of developing a sustainable and competitive entrepreneurial ecosystem in Serbia.
