IMPACTA Project – Second Local Stakeholder Group Meeting Held in Belgrade

01.06.2026

The Association of Business Women in Serbia organized the second Local Stakeholder Group (LSG) meeting within the framework of the international IMPACTA project (co-funded by the Interreg Danube Region Programme), which aims to strengthen women’s entrepreneurship, social innovation, and support for women at different stages of business development.

The meeting brought together representatives of business support organizations, women entrepreneurs, consultants, educators, and other relevant stakeholders who contribute to the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Serbia through their work. The meeting was led by Dragana Panajotović, Executive Director of the Association of Business Women in Serbia, and Lija Stojković, Project Manager, who presented the project’s activities to date and the first draft of the training methodology developed within the IMPACTA project.

The main focus of the meeting was the presentation and discussion of the first draft of the training methodology and materials developed within the project. Participants had the opportunity to provide comments and recommendations to ensure that future support programmes effectively address the real needs of women entrepreneurs and are adapted to the local context.

During the discussion, particular emphasis was placed on the importance of developing an entrepreneurial mindset, building self-confidence, mentoring, networking, and mutual support among women who are starting or growing their businesses. Participants highlighted that practical tools, experience sharing, and stronger connections with relevant stakeholders are essential for the long-term success of entrepreneurial initiatives.

Stakeholders positively assessed the proposed methodology, emphasizing that it provides a solid foundation for future capacity-building activities and support for women entrepreneurs. The need for future training activities to remain flexible, practice-oriented, and adaptable to different levels of entrepreneurial experience was also highlighted.

The conclusions and recommendations collected during the meeting will be incorporated into the further refinement of the methodology and upcoming project activities, with the aim of creating sustainable support mechanisms for women’s entrepreneurship.

Through international cooperation, knowledge exchange, and stakeholder engagement, the IMPACTA project continues to contribute to the development of a more inclusive and stronger entrepreneurial ecosystem for women.
