IMPACTA Project – Kick-off Meeting Held in Budapest

25-26.05.2025

The kick-off event for the IMPACTA project took place on 25-26 May in Budapest. As the project coordinator, Women Business Angels, together with the HÉTFA Research Institute, hosted six partners from six countries (Serbia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, Moldova, and Ukraine), including the Association of Business Women of Serbia.

The two-day meeting facilitated an intensive exchange of ideas and solidified plans for future collaboration.

Day 1: Shared Vision

The meeting began with an inspiring speech by Eszter Szabó, President of WBA, who presented the project’s objectives to connect different sectors in a common mission.

During the opening session, project partners introduced their organizations, expertise, and roles in the project, demonstrating how diverse perspectives can contribute to shared success. Project Manager Lija Stojković presented the Association of Business Women of Serbia, highlighting its numerous national and international initiatives.

The most productive part of the day was an interactive workshop where participants jointly defined the project’s key beneficiaries and strategies for maximizing social impact.

Day 2: From Ideas to Implementation

The second day focused on concrete steps. Participants developed plans for pilot activities, discussed methodologies, and identified potential challenges that may arise during implementation.

Special attention was given to organizational aspects—timelines, role distribution, and progress monitoring mechanisms. This session provided all participants with a clear roadmap for the next steps.
