WE.Circular Project – Partners Meeting Held in Varaždin

29–30.10.2025

Key WE.Circular project events took place in Varaždin on October 29 and 30, bringing together partners from across the Danube region with the shared goal of advancing women’s entrepreneurship and promoting the transition toward a circular economy.

Over the two-day programme at the HNK Varaždin and Technology Park Varaždin, participants presented new initiatives and good practices, took part in thematic discussions, and held partner meetings dedicated to the further development of project activities. The Association of Business Women in Serbia was represented by the Project manager Lija Stojković.

The first day of the programme featured the Voogle Conference and the We.Circular Talks panel session at the Croatian National Theatre Varaždin (HNK Varaždin), which brought together representatives of partner organisations, local institutions, and experts in the field of circular economy. Participants had the opportunity to learn about current trends and successful initiatives in circular practices, with presentations from project partners RAPIV and MGFU, as well as organisation Strela.

Afternoon sessions included the 3rd Thematic Task Group Meeting, dedicated to reviewing the progress of pilot testing and validating the training programs developed within the project.

On the second day, the Transnational Stakeholder Group Meeting was held, focusing on the drafts Regional Action Plans and discussions on the potential structure of the Transnational Strategy for WE Transition, as well as upcoming activities, including the Pop-Store event in Bratislava.

The events in Varaždin provided an opportunity for partners to reflect on project progress, assess achieved results, and align the next steps for strengthening cooperation within the WE.Circular initiative.
