Meeting of Serbian Partners Held within the WOMEX Project

30.10.2025

A working meeting of the Serbian partners involved in the implementation of the international project WOMEX – The Role of Women in the Competitiveness of Exporting SMEs was held on 29 October 2025 at the premises of the Association of Business Women in Serbia. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Association of Business Women in Serbia and the Regional Agency for Development and European Integration Belgrade.

The meeting provided an opportunity to review the results achieved so far and the experiences gained in implementing project activities, with a particular focus on the research on the position of women in exporting small and medium-sized enterprises, coordinated by the Association of Business Women in Serbia. The partners exchanged views on the preliminary findings and agreed on the next steps to ensure the successful implementation of the current project phase.

One of the main topics was the preparation of the second stakeholder meeting, which will bring together representatives of the business sector, institutions and decision-makers. The aim of this event is to contribute, through dialogue and exchange of experiences, to a more precise identification of the needs of women entrepreneurs and to the development of concrete measures to be included in the Employment Programme of the City of Belgrade with an accompanying action plan.
