Fifth National Stakeholder Group Meeting of the WE.Circular Project Held in Serbia

The Association of Business Women in Serbia organized the fifth National Stakeholder Group Meeting within the WE.Circular project – Strengthening Digital and Industrial Capacities for the Sustainable Circular Transition of Women Entrepreneurs in the Danube Region, held at the Europe House in Belgrade.

The meeting brought together representatives of public institutions, academia, business support organizations, civil society organizations, women entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders who have been involved in project activities related to the circular economy and digital transformation throughout the project implementation.

Participants were presented with the key results achieved at both national and transnational levels, including the analysis of skills needs and gaps among women entrepreneurs, the training programme, WE.Circular Labs, the Innovation Competition for women-led businesses, as well as major project outputs such as the virtual WE.Circular Toolbox, improved business models, and the Transnational Strategy for the WE.Circular Transition.

Particular attention was given to discussions on the sustainability of project results and opportunities for their continued use after the project’s completion. Participants emphasized the value of the practical tools developed through the project, especially the WE.Circular Labs and the Toolbox, as well as the importance of continued support for women entrepreneurs in the fields of circular economy and digital transformation.

Stakeholders positively assessed the project results, highlighting the importance of connecting different actors, facilitating knowledge exchange, and developing practical solutions that can contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of women-led businesses and supporting the sustainable transition of the economy.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to present the final project activities and discuss the next steps in raising awareness and promoting the use of WE.Circular project results in Serbia and across the Danube Region.
