Fourth Partner Meeting of the ST(R)E(A)M IT Project Held in Palermo

The fourth partner meeting of the project ST(R)E(A)M IT: Streaming Girls and Women into STEAM Education, Innovation and Research, funded by the HORIZON WIDERA programme, was held on 25–26 November in Palermo. The meeting brought together 21 partner organisations from 19 countries – Hungary, Ireland, Germany, Bulgaria, Romania, Lithuania, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, North Macedonia, Sweden, Belgium, Greece, Poland and Iceland. The Association of Business Women in Serbia was represented at the meeting by Lija Stojković, Project Manager.

During the first day, partners reviewed the overall progress of the project and achieved results, as well as key steps planned for the upcoming period. Progress within the work packages was discussed, alongside an exchange of experiences and discussions on challenges and opportunities for strengthening cooperation. Particular focus was placed on communication and dissemination of project activities and results.

The second day focused on gender-sensitive education, the broader social and European context of the project, and the development of policy recommendations. Through workshops and joint work, partners discussed impact evaluation and planned upcoming activities, with clearly defined next steps.

The meeting in Palermo represented an important opportunity to strengthen cooperation among partners and to further steer the ST(R)E(A)M IT project towards its goal of promoting gender equality and increasing the participation of girls and women in STEAM education, research and innovation.
