Regular ABW meeting – projects and ABW activities

On the agenda of the regular ABW meeting in April were final events of current projects, regular ABW activities and services that ABW provides to its members. The meeting was held in the premises of the Centre of emigrants and Serbs in the region in Belgrade.

Olivera Popovic, vice president of the ABW Serbia, opened the event with a brief report about the closure of the project “Service development for women’s start-up promotion”, implemented with the support of German agency for international cooperation – GIZ. At the final event “Innovation competition” were presented the best business models and the winning teams were decided as well.

On this occasion was briefly presented the closure of the project “Inspiring women’s entrepreneurship in Serbia”, implemented with the support of the Center for International Private Enterprise-CIPE.  This programme represents a continuation of successfully implemented mentoring programmes of ABW Serbia – work between mentors, experienced women entrepreneurs with beginners in entrepreneurship

Also, one of the topics was Girls’ Day 2015 – a day celebrated internationally every fourth Thursday in April, and ABW Serbia organized this project for the fifth year in a row.

Many newly joined members attended the meeting and on this occasion Sanja Popovic Pantic, ABW president, presented services that the Association offers to its members.
