Professional area of Sanja Popovic Pantic (43) is business consultancy, association’s development,  research&development. Her commitment is development of female entrepreneurship. She obtained PhD in female entrepreneurship in 2013 at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade.

Sanja Popovic-Pantic is the leader of the biggest national association of female entrepreneurs in Serbia, with more than 200 members. She is running the Association since 1998. During that time, nearly 130 projects have been realized in strengthening female entrepreneurial initiatives, projects, start up and established companies. Some 3 000 women passed the education for start up while 100 established their own companies.

She has a strong academic background as she is employed as researcher in Science and Technology Policy Research Center in Mihajlo Pupin Institute.

She is the author of two books based on the research of female entrepreneurship in Serbia such as: “From vulnerable to sustainable group” – how to overcome poverty among women through self-employment in 2007 , “Sustainability of female businesses”, which was published in 2010.

Mrs. Popovic-Pantic is the most respectable national consultant in female entrepreneurship, specialized for innovation in SME sector. She has been engaged also as UN Women expert in their project “Advancing women’s economic and social rights in Serbia.”

The International Alliance for Women (TIAW) recognized and selected Sanja Popovic Pantic as a 2012 TIAW World of Difference 100 Award recipient while in the same year she has been awarded with the award PLANETA BIZNIS, delivered by the leading national magazine in entrepreneurship “Ekonometar”, for the extraordinary contribution to entrepreneurship development. She has been awarded also by the Ministry of economy and regional development of Serbia in 2008. for the contribution to female entrepreneurship development in Serbia.

She is married and she has two daughters.
