19 Aug Support to Women Entrepreneurs
Association of Business Women of Serbia is starting a new project “Support to Women Self-Employment in Promising Economy Sectors, through Training, Mentorship and Networking”, supported by the Ministry of Finance and Economy.
The project is including education of 50 women who wish to get self-employed or are at the beginning of their entrepreneurship. Women who wish to re-activate their previously formed companies which stagnated because of the crisis or because of lack of knowledge, information and other resources may apply as well. The project will encompass seven towns in five regions; North Serbia (Subotica and Backi Petrovac), Zajecar with the surroundings in the East, Bujanovac in the South, Cacak in Central Serbia and Valjevo in Western Serbia, as well as Belgrade.
Out of 50 trained participants for the topic of preparing a business plan and how to use internet for business development, 20 best ones will have successful women entrepreneurs as their mentors, who will work with them till the end of the project.
