Women’s Entrepreneurship: Capacity Building, Networking and Mentoring

Women’s Entrepreneurship: Capacity Building, Networking and Mentoring

October 2011 – March 2012

Association of Business Women is working together and assisting organizations for women entrepreneurs in local communities in order to build their capacities for developing and growing their membership bases, services and activities. In addition to working with local women’s empowerment organizations, it also necessary to reach out directly to the individual women who are already self-employed or considering entrepreneurship as an option for employment. Many women turn to ABW to network and gain the knowledge and skills not only for starting a company, but also for expanding their current operations. These entrepreneurs and “would be” entrepreneurs can benefit from the training and networking, as well informal and formal mentoring services they receive by being a part of the ABW.

This project is funded by Canada Fund.
